The red pesto is different of all other tomato sauces because is made with dried tomatoes that gives a stronger flavour, sweet and sour. This is perfect by itself or added to any cream sauces. Our favourite sauce we pulled of for a dinner was with cubed pan freid eggplants and cream, and on top some silvered almonds! Spectacular! Like for all pesto it can also be used for bruschette or to be added in dips and dressing for salad.
